arts4society is dedicated to advancing cultural accessibility and promoting the role of art, artists, and cultural institutions in society.

Access to culture is a fundamental human right, as affirmed in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Yet many people still feel the arts are not for them, either because they do not feel represented or because cultural institutions are not adapted to their needs.

At arts4society, accessibility is approached as a broad and strategic commitment: removing barriers to cultural participation and fostering engagement among the widest possible audiences, including people with disabilities.

Anne Picq has worked for 20 years at the intersection of art, education, and social innovation. She co-founded arts4society with Aude Adrien in 2020 in New York. Together, Anne and Aude wrote a book, launched a podcast, and developed projects on social change through art. Aude is now a psychotherapist-in-training in London, while Anne continues to work toward cultural accessibility through teaching, training, and innovative programs.
